I also have 11 tattoos and don’t have more because I’ve been pregnant and haven’t had the My Cat and I talk shit about you shirt. My tattoos are all expensive and well done. They are beautiful and have so much meaning. My husband also is covered in tattoos. Christ Follower, hard worker, medically retired from the military after 10 years. Our beautiful daughter loves to draw on our tattoos and wants to do her own tattoos with a pen half the time  judge me if you wish but Jesus loves me Unless my starting pay was more than what my tattoos cost cheapest being 60 bucks, I'm not hiding them for anyone. If you think a Harry Potter tattoo makes me unprofessional, I wouldn't want to work for anyone with such closed minded thinking anyway. The only time I judge a person with tattoos... Is when it looks like their inexperienced friend tatted them, and the tats are gang affiliated or something similiar... We should judge tats by what they depict... Not cause they are just tattoos.  You cant call them stereotypes when they're true. Doctors and tattoos is a trust factor. It's been shown. Yes it can prevent you from getting a job and it should. Not everyone agrees with tattoos and studies have been done on this. I even work in the dental field. You saw him roll up his sleeves. He'd have to really prove trust to his patients because they're scared without tattoos too. It's entirely fair for you to not be hired with tattoos. They have the same right to not hire you as anyone has the right too. In most work places, particularly if you require a degree. They aren't professional and stereotypes won't be changed.
