 Wake up folks. Teachers can not make it on the pennies they are given, especially in the southern states. There is a system in Florida who is starting the year with hundreds of vacancies because people are not lining up to become teachers and are not paid enough for the abuse they receive. Until we pay teachers what they deserve and merit they are going to continue to need financial good will like this, beautiful act of charity. This is in no way heartwarming. It’s obviously a tremendously benevolent act by the WWE Ric Flair to be the man you gotta beat the man shirt. But what a horrific condemnation on our country that the people who we’ve tasked with the awesome responsibility of guiding our children’s learning and growth can’t afford the basic necessities of life. Stories like this create an anecdotal fallacy that overshadows how deplorably we treat huge, vastly important segments of our society.
