 I sure was about to make that comment 4 boys, but yours just made my day. Being a mom is tough. Being a single mom some days feels like torture. But baby when I tell you I can’t find 4 people more worth it. Love those little people with my life. I think all mom's need to be reminded that we are great mom's, regardless the Mickey And The Bravest Shirt of kids we have. Great message. I needed to read your words today. Appreciate you I have five kids ages 20, 17, 15, 14, and 7. The youngest 4 still live at home (obviously). My husband and I work full time and I'm a full time student. I just graduated with my bachelors (with a 4.0....little pat on my back lol) and I'm now working towards MBA. We have a very busy schedule. All of the kids help out in the house and the older ones help with the 7 year old like getting him something to drink, small things like that. I raise my kids, they do not raise each other. But there is nothing wrong with helping. The 14 year old is heading to high school in the fall. They get off the bus at 415 and I get out of work at 430. I'm home before 5. Hubby works retail management hours and is rarely home at a normal time. 14 year old is now responsible for watching the 7 year old after school for that 45 minutes because it is pointless to pay for daycare for such a short time. 17 year old works after school and 15 year old lives with her mom during the week. No, they didnt have a choice for the 7 year old to be here he was a surprise but there is nothing wrong with helping out. We are a team. My kids rarely complain when it comes to helping out. They dont do it on their own...heaven forbid lol...but they jump in and help when I tell them to.
