 ill trust an investment banker with tattoos, jeans and a t-shirt anyday over some pretencious asshat who spent 5000 on a suit that i know my investment money will end up paying for befire i end up with a gain in the market haha i dont trust suits and i dont trust cops... the uniforms they both put on hide the Labrador Mom sunflower dog shirt dirty immoral ppl they are inside Years ago, I was very, very tempted to get a tat on my wrist that would be able to hide by jewelry I had read that Natalie Wood always wore one to hide an old injury. for job interviews, but I chickened out ... I now live in a retirement home. Is it too late  I am a Senior Scientist at my company. I have my graduate degree...working toward my PhD. I’m in the business to save lives....creating biosimilar products to save cancer patients at an affordable cost. I have 3 large tattoos. Granted, none are visible. I did this so I could get a good job and be taken seriously. With that said, I’m still the same person with these tattoos regardless of their visibility. I have not changed myself. Despite this, some tattoos should be covered up if they are inappropriate for the workplace (e.g. tattoos that show a woman being raped, offensive words, gore, gang signs). And having tattoos myself, I would be hesitant hiring someone with gang art or offensive tattoos. Because tattoos do represent you as a person. They show your imagination, your character, your journey, and what’s important to you. I don’t think any of you would hire someone with “Satan” tattooed across their forehead. So let’s be a little realistic about this. Not all tattoos are acceptable. Also, my opinions are my own and do not represent those of my company.
