Those kittens came out of it super healthy and thick. My cat was pretty much a rescue kitten (her cat-mother's owner had a dog that kept trying to eat her) but she got pregnant before she was actually old enough to be spayed by the vets. It's not always possible to get them neutered before the little pitter-patter of baby paw prints, but her two babies were adorable and very loved by their new family. I have a cat who did the same thing. Both first time cat parent. The dad never hurt his kittens. He sleeps with them, clean and when he heard his kittens crying he was there always to check. He’s like a human dad.
