You are my sunshine sunflower shirt

 There was a stray cat who lived around my mom's house. Mom would put out food for them and we noticed that the daddy ALWAYS let the babies eat first. If the momma cat tried to eat first he would get between her and the You are my sunshine sunflower shirt. Very gently, never hissing or biting. I had never seen this kind of behavior in a male cat, especially a feral stray. My male cat Tiger never hurt his kittens. We had two short hair tabby cats. They were a couple and when Tinker gave birth, Tiger actually helped her take care of the kittens. He never did anything to hurt them. I found them all homes at 8 weeks. I take care of 6 Ferals. We def don't need more cats. I just heard that 3 + million sent to shelters last year, 1/2 of them pout to death. They are cute but it seems that people aren't responsible enough to take care of them.  I am glad that the cats are taking care of each other. That part is beautiful. However, the cats should have been spayed/neutered if they were in your care. I volunteer for a feral spay/neuter clinic and I deal with the hardships of what happens to so many unwanted kittens/cats. Seeing fetuses being aborted is very heartbreaking. Too many humans do not take responsibility and it comes to this. There are not enough shelters, fosters and homes. Cute video, but doubt this is the dad. Toms are not this nice and will usually kill the kittens so they can breed with the female again. Also... why are people still letting their pets breed. Yeah, Yeah. bring on the hate... I don't care. I work in a shelter and no matter how many cute kitten videos are out there, it will never erase the amount of kittens dying in shelters out there. This family of cats look healthy and happy! Why can't people see the beauty of this instead of going off on a tangent about stray cats. Not all people are neglient about their cats and no one has a right to call them irresponsible and take away their joy of cats or dogs too for that matter.
