Jack Skellington Metallica shirt

I mommy taxed my son last night, someone gave him taffy and I took about 1/3 of the piece, lol. He asked why I did it, and I said it was the Jack Skellington Metallica shirt tax, and next time maybe he will open his own candy. My daughter always gives me some,even if I don't want it, I guess after 8 years she just knows there is the Mommy Tax. Nope, we have a candy fairy who takes the candy they leave out and gives them money for it. Works all year for valentines, Easter and all other times a year kids get unnecessary amounts of candy. I don't want to eat the candy and really don't want them to eat it either. So it goes in the trash.  Your kids seem old enough to do their own laundry at least folding and putting away, cleaning and making their own beds.... take their candy if you want but work smarter not harder and get them pulling their weight. There’s a moral to this story, for happy still I was. Just because I’m running now, no reason for to cry. I loved me life, I loved me house, I loved me family. And the thing that made it all ok, my family loved me. I know it's sad that she's no longer with us down here but if I remember what I was taught Irish don't mourn the death as much as celebrate the life! One thing for certain is that lil dog loved life and lived it to the fullest! If we could get one day of that kind of joy we would be happy forever.
