I don't have a favorite song, or a favorite album, or even a favorite band. I just have the song/album/band that fits my mood at the time. Creeping Death. For one reason. Back in the late 80's, I was channel surfing when I thought I saw a concert on one channel. Go back to it. It was a religious channel condemning Heavy metal music for being satanic and of all the songs they could have used they used the "die by my hand " section. Yes, they completely missed the irony of the song they picked. The whole damn album is awesome. That was the tour that saw them for the first time in Hollywood, California. Cliff Burton was fucking awesome. Who would have known that a short a short time later he would be gone? I was truly blessed to have seen him. Fight fire with fire for me. It's an ecstasy of frenzy guitar lines and when you realize in the middle of the song that God exists, then comes the double solo... Oh my God... One of the best songs ever.
