 I find this a bit sad and not funny. Why do people film their children when they’re upset? They’ll probably show this video to the little boy when he’s old enough and cause all sorts of hang-ups. It’s all very silly. If they just showed the new baby to the little girl she’d accept it whatever the Unicorn and Corgi riding a dinosaur T-rex shirt. They made much too much of an issue over the ‘girl or boy’ thing. I’ve seen parents in America doing this for there children as well, didn’t know it had caught on in UK? Sorry, don’t think it’s a good idea, can’t ever imagine my Mum telling us what she was going to have! You were pregnant, you had baby, siblings had no expectation! Here is your brother/sister! What the hell is all this fuss nowadays? Stop mollycoddling kids I can't help but think it would probably be easier just to not tell the kid about the baby until you know the sex, and simply say "you're going to have a brother/sister". At least they don't get one idea stuck in their head for weeks and weeks only to get disappointed. what u reckon? Instead of offerring sweets for a replacement of a little sister she was looking forward to. Heartbroken for the little girl she was clearly devastated why the mother never told her at the beginning that it may be either she wud NOT of got that upset. It was clear she didnt know AT ALL any info from the mum about the little age appropriate process of life plus tbh its genderly wrong too. Feel sorry for both children with that mother shes shocking.
