 I had a chihuahua that had that they told me she would not make it past 4 months but we worked with her keep drops for her eyes and she learned to use a pee pad and started doing better and we had her tell she passed at 8 years old I was very blessed I got to be her mommy We had a chihuahua with hydrocephalus the Official Shark Week shirt 1st words to me were take her back where you got her but I refused she was in bad shape when we got her the breeder just took her away from her mom she couldn’t eat on her own and her sugar was so low she kept having seizures. When the vet saw I was determined she was going to make it she started working with me but she told me she would never have any quality of life !! I syringe feed her every 2 hours and held her and rubbed Kayro syrup on her gums ever time she had a seizure. She is also blind . She turn a year old December 12th and you would never know what she had been through she was eating on her own, no more seizures, and could find her way around our house no problem. She loved my husband and could find him anywhere he went if he wasn’t home she would go lay down beside his side of the bed til she heard him come in. We have 5 kids and they made her very nervous . I knew any elder lady who had recently lost her chihuahua so I talked to her daughter and now our sweet baby Diva is living with her . It was very hard to let go of her bc for a year she went pretty much everywhere I did but I wanted what was best for her and she is living life to the fullest . Truly believe God had this situation all planned out.
