How can we sit in our safe countries, all the opportunities in the world, while so many on our planet suffer?! America has plenty of love and compassion, and has demonstrated it since WWII. You obviously do not understand the heartland of America.  Ms. Winfrey, I have had sleepless hours over these children being imprisoned by these horrible old heartless men. Children are our future and these incarcerations will scar the children for life. Imagine all the brilliance the world would have lost if the immigration had been closed decades ago when some of the brightest, most innovative minds had been kept out of our country? They are destroying our future.
