He asks for due process from the courts when he was willingly joined and participated in an organisation which he knew summarily executed people and displaced them of their property. He is unrepentant. He should stay and rot where he is. As for his minor daughter, she had no choice. We don’t get to choose our parents. She should be processed and if she is cleared she should be allowed to go home but remain under supervision and observation for a while in my view its two ways to do this, and I dont know which is the right one or if any of them is, but people that went there under some one elses influence like children or a wife with nothing to say about it, should be allowed to return home, this is offcourse if they have not been part of the crimes that has been comitted. Those going there to join IS should be forgiven or executed, christian way is forgive and turn the other cheek thing, the more human reaction is probably closer to an execution, so life in prisson is usually the compromise most settle with.
