Wages may have gone up for a lot of people but for indot the state of Indiana Department of Transportation has not we are lucky to get 1% cost-of-living per year and that's it. That sounds like a state issue. Indiana had a budget reserve of nearly $1.8 billion, as of July. They should give some of it to the people who work for them. With so many jobs available out there, it should be pretty easy to find a better job, then if your employer wants to keep their employees, they will have to be competitive. The real question is, do you earn a good living now? We are the same. About 2 or 2.5% per year but we earn close to six figures now. Jeff Phillips not really that's why I work two jobs full-time with the state part-time with a trucking company which I will be going to full-time until I retire from the state what I make there and one week is what I make at the state in two weeks the reason I haven't left to go there yet is I have a year-and-a-half and I can retire and collect a little something from the state.
